Our sizing is a guide only. 

Please consider the guide and your individual body type when choosing your size.

Tailored Bodice Dresses (i.e Belle Dress, Bella Dress)

The bodice dress measurements fall perfectly in line with our sizing chart. Before placing your order we advise that you measure your chest (around your back and over the centre of your bust) and your waist (at the smallest part) against our sizing chart. When taking your bust and waist measurements be sure to hold the tape measure taut, without any slack. If you have any slack in the tape measure it will result in a dress that is too big.

Some of our pieces may not be intended to be worn tight to the figure. In this case, the measurements provided within each size bracket are the SUGGESTED figure size for the garment rather than the exact sizing of the piece.

Our advice: as there is no give to our fabric, if you have a fuller bust we would advise sizing up. Please contact us at hello@olanaclothing for advice before placing your order should you like a little help with sizing.

Note: As all of our garments are hand cut and sewn, please understand that we work at a 1cm tolerance either side of the measurement.

If you require specific, individual tailored measurements or lengths, please feel free to contact us at hello@olanaclothing.com and we will do our very best to accommodate you. We do offer a bespoke tailoring service where we are able to create bespoke bodice sizes and skirt lengths for an additional fee.

Sweet decadence meets classic elegance. Our mini velvet Ophelia dress is an extra special party piece that is perfect for all your winter soirées. Hugging closely through the lined bodice before gently flaring out to a luxurious gathered skirt that features our signature hidden pockets. Petite silk ruffle straps feed into a soft scoop neckline for added femininity and a timeless feel. Features zip opening and waist ties to the back for added cinching.  Crafted from the most luxurious organic cotton velvet and lined in bamboo silk, this piece a darling little winter number.

Waist to hem measurement: 18 inches.

Outer: 100% organic cotton velvet.
Lining: 100% organic bamboo silk.

Fabric properties: Dense, lustrous, smooth.

Gentle hand washing using mild fabric conditioner is advised. Cool iron on reverse.
