Our sizing is a guide only. 

Please consider the guide and your individual body type when choosing your size.

Tailored Bodice Dresses (i.e Belle Dress, Bella Dress)

The bodice dress measurements fall perfectly in line with our sizing chart. Before placing your order we advise that you measure your chest (around your back and over the centre of your bust) and your waist (at the smallest part) against our sizing chart. When taking your bust and waist measurements be sure to hold the tape measure taut, without any slack. If you have any slack in the tape measure it will result in a dress that is too big.

Some of our pieces may not be intended to be worn tight to the figure. In this case, the measurements provided within each size bracket are the SUGGESTED figure size for the garment rather than the exact sizing of the piece.

Our advice: as there is no give to our fabric, if you have a fuller bust we would advise sizing up. Please contact us at hello@olanaclothing for advice before placing your order should you like a little help with sizing.

Note: As all of our garments are hand cut and sewn, please understand that we work at a 1cm tolerance either side of the measurement.

We do offer a bespoke tailoring service where we are able to create bespoke bodice sizes and skirt lengths for an additional fee.

This updated silhouette features a soft, romantic frill neckline that gently brushes the décolletage, finishing with a dramatic, sweeping frilled hem and train to add an ethereal texture to an effortless classic.
Our signature princess seams still sculpt the bodice to perfection, continuing throughout the entire gown to offer an enhanced feminine shape. Doubled bamboo silk is cut in cascading panels, allowing the beautiful new frill details to catch the air and create wonderful, silky movement as you glide across the room. The elegant silhouette is complemented by the daintiest of spaghetti straps which fall into a gentle low back, balancing the rich romantic details with timeless sophistication.
A dress that can be worn for years to come and could even be shortened or dyed your favourite colour.

Gentle hand washing using mild fabric conditioner is advised for our pure silk garments.

Model is 5ft 8 and wears a tailor-made dress closest to a size 6.

For our bridal range we offer a bespoke tailoring service where we craft your garment to suit your personal measurements. All of our pieces are all handmade to order in our studio in the north of England. Please expect delivery of your bridal dress to take 20-24 weeks depending on the complexity of your dress. The process for creating each garment involves designing, cutting, stitching, steaming, labelling, packaging and sending to each of our customers personally.
