After discussing your overall bridal vision, we have an array of beautiful wedding gowns for you to play dress up in.
We will provide a full measuring service during the appointment. Following this, our incredible dressmakers will cut and craft your gown to perfection in the studio above the boutique.

The Bespoke Touch
Bespoke options are available as we hand craft all of our pieces from scratch. Fancy adding a romantic sleeve to your Amelia dress? Or perhaps you’d like to incorporate a dramatic train in your dress? Anything is possible and our specialist team is delighted to work with you on your vision for your dream dress.
For bespoke dresses we always recommend you visit us at the boutique to try on the dress with our team. Alternatively, we can send your dress out to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Please note that second appointments and fittings incur additional costs.

2. The boutique is located on the 2nd floor of our building & is only accessible via a flight of stairs
3. Appointments are strictly schedule to 1 hour (or 1.5 if you have chosen this option). If you are late, this will be deducted from your appointment time. Please make sure you leave extra time for parking!
Our studio is located directly above our boutique and is home to 8 sewing machines, 2 cutting tables, all of our Olana patterns and fabrics and five highly-skilled dressmakers.
Each garment is pieced together by hand using traditional sewing methods, a skilled eye and a very steady hand. You can rest assured that your dress is part of a conscious, soulful, slow-fashion movement that focuses on substance, quality and beauty.
We are incredibly passionate about our fabrics and work with some of the oldest and most prestigious fabric houses in the UK - many of them are still small family run businesses.
From design to production, everything is lovingly considered.

By Car
If you are travelling from London, we are located 3 hours away by car with easy access from junction 37, M1.
Or alternatively a 2.5 hour train journey away.
Parking:
The Courthouse Car Park, which is located within walking distance, offers many parking spaces with free parking.
Another option is our Regent Street side street parking availability.
By Train
If arriving by train, we are a short 5 minute walk away. We recommend heading through Barnsley’s Bus Terminal and following this out onto Regent Street. Taking a left onto Hanson Street before curving right and there we are.
WHERE TO STAY
The 3 Acres is a welcoming country inn and restaurant set in the rolling, green Pennines, which has been owned by the Truelove family for over 50 years. Room prices range from £150-£200 a night.
For an easy central stay within walking distance of Olana, we have a Premiere Inn with reasonable overnight prices also featuring an in house restaurant.
We love an AirBnB. We recommend searching for Air BnBs in the following Barnsley areas: Cawthorne, Penistone, Denby Dale, Hoylandswaine, Silkstone and Ingbirchworth. Holmfirth is a sweet town a little further west with great amenities if you’re happy to drive!

Making lunch or dinner plans during your journey to us? Look no further than the incredible restaurant below us, Med at Olana. This Mediterranean beauty will undoubtedly transport you away from the UK with its charming ambiance and flavours. A true Barnsley favourite, not to be missed.
A must needed coffee or beverage in hand is best found at Old George, located a 30 second walk away from the Olana Studio. Never fails to extend a friendly greeting and provide a tasty brunch to put a smile on your face.
If in search for a celebratory cocktail our newly built area ‘The Glassworks’ provides many options for you and your tribe.The Botanist is a crowd pleaser promising a desirable suited to everyone.
Alternatively, located in the beautiful nearby village of Cawthorne, The Spencer’s Arms, a British gastro pub is guaranteed to win you over with its open fire and stunning quality food. Perfect for sipping a glass of wine reflecting on an incredible day.

Canon Hall has beauty and history in spade loads and has actually been a shooting spot for Olana in the past. Grab a beverage from the on site cafe and take a leisurely stroll around the grounds.

The Civic is Barnsley’s local live entertainment facility that hosts an array of spectacular plays, shows and live music. They also arrange weekly yoga and pilates sessions.
Cooper Gallery
Across from our stunning Town Hall, we have the Cooper Gallery which showcases some of the towns local artists. Founded in 1914, this gallery in the heart of Barnsley has an incredible history alone.
The Peak District
You have the rolling hills of the Peak District just a 30-minute drive away, with many beautiful places to stay for an evening. The United Kingdom’s oldest National Park is sure to take your breath away with the most picturesque views.
