After discussing your overall bridal vision, we have an array of beautiful wedding gowns for you to play dress up in.
Our Process
Once you have chosen the dress for your special day, we start the beautiful process of creating your dress in our studio.
The following journey looks different for each bride, however where possible we like to make sure each bride has these key points of contact.
The first fitting - This appointment is the first fitting of your dress which allows the team to assess any pattern and fir arrangements.
The final fitting - At this stage we will check the dress is fitting as it should before we commence the final stages in our studio, adding all the finishing touches.
For brides who have their hearts set on an Olana dress but cannot make it into to the boutique we do sometimes send the dress straight to you. In these cases any alterations would need to be done by your own local tailor.

I cannot even begin to thank the Olana team and Jodie-Leigh enough for creating the wedding dress outfit of my dreams. The experience was superior to any busy high street boutique and their craftsmanship and materials are incredible. They also went out of their way to craft a bespoke jacket for my silk belle midi dress and the resulting two piece was completely perfect for our cold winter, city wedding. I would not hesitate to order from Olana again as the quality and experience is second to none and highly recommend shopping with them for a wedding or any special occasion, really.
I had the absolute dream experience working with Jodie-Leigh and her beautiful team at Olana to create my bespoke wedding dress and cape and I can't recommend her enough! From the moment I stepped into her boutique, I felt instantly at home...it had such a warm, cosy vibe that screamed "me," with its beautiful vintage pieces displayed on the rails and the sample wedding gowns made with inspiring fabrics. I could hear Ella Fitzgerald playing on the record player and we were offered bubbles in beautiful vintage coupe glasses. I felt instantly relaxed! The boutique matched my personality completely and I knew I'd picked the right place for my dream dress! What set Olana apart was how deeply Jodie-Leigh got to know me on a personal level. During our consultations, we chatted about my love story, my style quirks, and what I thought my wedding day would look like, and it all wove into the design. I fell instantly in love with the 'Amelia' wedding dress with the elegant plunging back and scooped neckline. I'd never seen bamboo silk used before on a wedding gown and the fabric made the dress totally unique. We tweaked the design by adding a long train and an oversized detachable bow which created the romantic "princess" look I was going for. I had my heart set on an organza cape to wear at the ceremony. Jodie-Leigh made it happen and sourced some gorgeous organza fabric within my budget. The result was a bespoke masterpiece that felt like it was made for me on every level. Jodie-Leigh and Emma poured endless time into perfecting the fit, with multiple thoughtful fittings where they'd tweak every detail...from the bodice hugging my waist like a glove to the train flowing effortlessly. Their patience and expertise ensured it was comfortable for all-day wear, from the ceremony to the dance floor. I couldn't resist ordering the Clémence and Ophelia dresses for my bridesmaids and a bespoke romper for my 1 year old daughter in the same fabric. The hand drawn design matched perfectly with the look I was going for, an English Country Summer wedding. I couldn't think of a prettier dress for my most cherished ladies. On my wedding day, I felt radiant and confident, with guests raving about how the dresses were "so you"!....I'll never forget my wedding day, but I'll also cherish the experience I had with Olana- I can't thank you enough!
I am so glad I chose Olana for my wedding dress! I had tried some more traditional wedding dress boutiques and just felt very pressured to make a decision quickly, and face extra charges for not allowing enough time. I found out about Olana through Googling styles that I liked, and as soon as I emailed Jodie I knew I had to go and see her boutique, even though it was a 4 hour drive away! Jodie's boutique is the nicest wedding dress shop experience that I have had, by a mile. It felt so bespoke, so curated and so 'me', I don't know how else to describe it. I felt listened to, not rushed and like nothing was too much trouble at all. Jodie is truly brilliant at what she does and seems to genuinely love the process of exploring options and landing on the perfect dress for brides. Thank you so much, Jodie! Jodie-Leigh is the perfect person to be running a bridal dress company, she puts zero pressure on you to buy but helps with styling, ideas and the team even came up with something completely bespoke for me and is absolutely perfect. Olana has the most beautiful showroom, and it was so fun to fawn over all the other non-bridal dresses on display as well. I also love that the dresses are all handmade in England from a sustainability/ slow fashion point of view. I can’t wait to wear my dress in 10 days time at my Wedding - Thank you Jodie-Leigh for making it so special!
