Tailored Bodice Dresses (i.e Belle Dress, Bella Dress)

The bodice dress measurements fall perfectly in line with our sizing chart. Before placing your order we advise that you measure your chest (around your back and over the centre of your bust) and your waist (at the smallest part) against our sizing chart. When taking your bust and waist measurements be sure to hold the tape measure taut, without any slack. If you have any slack in the tape measure it will result in a dress that is too big.

Some of our pieces may not be intended to be worn tight to the figure. In this case, the measurements provided within each size bracket are the SUGGESTED figure size for the garment rather than the exact sizing of the piece.

Our advice: as there is no give to our fabric, if you have a fuller bust we would advise sizing up. Please contact us at hello@olanaclothing for advice before placing your order should you like a little help with sizing.

Note: As all of our garments are hand cut and sewn, please understand that we work at a 1cm tolerance either side of the measurement.

We do offer a bespoke tailoring service where we are able to create bespoke bodice sizes and skirt lengths for an additional fee.

We're so proud to introduce our Frances dress. Named after our founder's late Grandma, the Frances Dress is a timeless love letter to heritage and modern romance.

Crafted from highest quality linen, it features our exclusive house print: delicate, hand-sketched blooms layered over a structured background stripe. For us, our new Pinstripe Floral represents the Olana woman: structured and strong, yet inherently feminine and whimsical.

The Frances silhouette is defined by a striking square neckline, beautifully framed by a petite lace bust frill - a nostalgic detail lovingly inspired by the outfits Frances used to wear. The bodice features a detailed corset hook-and-eye closure, offering a structured, empowering fit that effortlessly gives way to a flowing midi skirt. Shot in the morning light of Paris' Luxembourg Gardens.

Midi Dress Skirt length (measured from waistband to hem): 32 inches.

100% linen.

Fabric properties: Dense, heavy weight, textured, breathable, woven.

Gentle hand washing using mild fabric conditioner is advised for our natural linen garments.
