Our sizing is a guide only. 

Please consider the guide and your individual body type when choosing your size.

Tailored Bodice Dresses (i.e Belle Dress, Bella Dress)

The bodice dress measurements fall perfectly in line with our sizing chart. Before placing your order we advise that you measure your chest (around your back and over the centre of your bust) and your waist (at the smallest part) against our sizing chart. When taking your bust and waist measurements be sure to hold the tape measure taut, without any slack. If you have any slack in the tape measure it will result in a dress that is too big.

Some of our pieces may not be intended to be worn tight to the figure. In this case, the measurements provided within each size bracket are the SUGGESTED figure size for the garment rather than the exact sizing of the piece.

Our advice: as there is no give to our fabric, if you have a fuller bust we would advise sizing up. Please contact us at hello@olanaclothing for advice before placing your order should you like a little help with sizing.

Note: As all of our garments are hand cut and sewn, please understand that we work at a 1cm tolerance either side of the measurement.

We do offer a bespoke tailoring service where we are able to create bespoke bodice sizes and skirt lengths for an additional fee.

A love letter to heritage winter charm, our Jeanne Mini Dress brings a sense of warmth and soft luxury to your seasonal wardrobe. Featuring a classic print chosen as a tender nod to my husband’s Scottish roots and named in honour of his grandmother, Jean.


Handcrafted in our Northern England studio, Jeanne is cut from beautifully soft cotton flannel and features an elegant, elongated shirred bodice that hugs the figure gently before giving way to a softly gathered skirt. Drama meets sweetness with puff sleeves that are finished with a delicate ruffle cuff. 

Styling tips:
Our Jeanne dress beautifully balances traditional heritage charm with a sweet, spirited silhouette. Designed as a truly versatile investment piece, she transitions effortlessly across the seasons - pair her with chic ballet flats, tights & heeled Mary Janes, or boots and a chunky knit for the ultimate cosy winter feel. Or do as our founder did and wear her to a country festival with cowboy boots!

100% cotton.

Fabric properties: Comfortable, soft, lightly textured.

Gentle hand washing using mild fabric conditioner is advised but our cotton range is able to be machine washed at 30 degrees with lovely results.

Please note that due to the natural dying process of our fabric, there may be differences in colours and tones between fabric batches.
