Though I refer to Olana as my third baby, I have two very real young girls. 

They are the air that I breathe.

As the demand for our dresses continues to blow me away, so my girls continue to grow and flourish.

Like many working mothers, I’ve spent countless nights wondering how to nurture both my family and this brand I love so deeply.

It’s time for a shift. One that creates balance without ever compromising on quality.

We will no longer offer always available made-to-order dresses. From now on, we’ll create limited seasonal collections.

Small batches of our signature designs, made in advance and ready to ship. Each one meticulously handcrafted by the same talented seamstresses in our Yorkshire studio.

When a dress sells out, it won’t return until the following year.

This change preserves both my time with family and everything Olana stands for - timeless design, exquisite fabrics, and the artistry that can only come from human hands. My hope is that it makes every Olana dress feel even more special, something to cherish for years to come.

I want Olana to grow beautifully, sustainably, and with heart. I want my daughters to see what mummy grew alongside raising them. Annoyingly I want it all. 

And so we begin this new chapter with the Velvet Collection, launching Tuesday, 4th November. 

We’re creating just 100 dresses, and subscribers will have exclusive early access to pre-order from Friday 10th October.
